DAE is excited to bring their expertise to Moscow, and expects the Alfa-Bank Show to become one of the crown jewels in their portfolio...
Facts
The statistics of the show alone are sure to amaze you:
- 200 trucks full of equipment from several countries of the world;
- 25,500 square meter total projection area;
- 81 hi-tech projection units;
- 40 «Big Lights» projectors which can illuminate the sky for more than one kilometer.
Can you imagine a billion watts of sound? Twelve acoustics lines were used for the sound delay effects. Over 2,000 cubic meters of iron construction was built, weighing in at more than one million kilos. Together, these factors ensured that all spectators from Moscow University to the Vorob’yovy Gory City Viewing Point was able to see and hear the show in all its splendour!
Idea
Alfa Show 4D took its spectators through an incredible journey from Moscow to different worlds, real and imaginary, through natural landscapes and masterpieces of architecture, famous attractions and the esoteric niches of the human mind and the imagination. DAE played with the façade, creating and deconstructing iconic images and Russian masterpieces, and scenes of nature and technology. In a matter of seconds, the University building iced up, transformed into a giant aquarium and later into the space station in the night sky; it completely disappeared and was «re-built» over and over again, and Vorob’yovy Gory, for a few moments, was crowned by many Wonders of the World, including the Sphinx, the Eiffel tower, and Big Ben. This technical odyssey into the realm of the human mind and its achievements concluded in Moscow and a celebration of her 864th birthday, as well as Alfa-Bank’s 20th anniversary.
Effects
The Alfa Show 4D showcased a unique combination of 3D projection with live performances, and scenic and special effects. Illusion become a part of tangible objects, reality melded into fantasy, and unprecedented 4D effects mesmerized the audience. Laser missiles set off real flames, and global celebrity Alan Robert conquered the constantly changing façade of the University. The French master of free-climbing has received worldwide attention for ascending to the top of skyscrapers without any ropes, pulleys or safety harnesses. We brought him here to Moscow to congratulate our great city, and use his example to show us that each and every one of us can achieve the impossible!
